Vote for Healthcare

Economy

A look at the growing cost of healthcare in the United States, why millions of Americans are losing coverage, and why it is time to treat healthcare as a human right instead of a profit driven industry.

As our country moves slowly toward the midterms, 3 million more Americans dropped their health care after the second year of the ACA increased their costs. A Trump administration official said it was due to fraud, but it was actually due to costs that increased dramatically when tax subsidies were stopped or reduced.

As I have stressed before, I am for some type of universal healthcare. We are the only wealthy country in the world that does not have it. The US spends significantly more on healthcare than other countries. Actually, double the cost of other countries. Unfortunately, our healthcare outcomes are among the worst. Other wealthy countries are meeting the basic healthcare needs of their people, and we are not.

We need change. Healthcare should be a human right, not a corporate profit center that is continuing to conglomerate into bigger monopolies to control the market and prices.

WE MUST FIGHT FOR CHANGE! ROTATE THE CROPS TO REVITALIZE OUR HEALTH SYSTEM!
